Primary Need: Food Security and Nutrition

Description: The ACCESS Nutrition Program teaches healthy eating and the importance of budgeting and shopping on a budget. It offers a 3-part Educational Program, each participant is required to attend three separate workshops and meetings. After each session the individual will receive a grocery gift card. We also offer Community Kitchens across Essex County, which can be suggested as an alternative or enhancement to the Nourishment Program. Participants are introduced to simple, healthy and economical recipes. The cooking workshops are free and ACCESS provides the food, recipes and instruction. Arrangements can be made for those with limited transportation, please call in advance.
