Description: Victim Services is a support for victims of crime or tragedy. Offers confidential, compassionate support in the immediate aftermath of a crisis for victims of trauma, accidents, violent crime and disasters, including witnesses, survivors and the bereaved. They offer crisis and disaster response teams with specialized assistance and advocacy for victims, witnesses and families. There is a support link program for women at extreme risk of additional violence and they provide information sessions for emergency services and community partners regarding trauma reactions, referrals, crime prevention strategies, investigation and judicial processes.
