Description: Association for persons experiencing an eating disorder. Provides information, referral, intervention and treatment. Reference library, speakers’ bureau, seminars, workshops and research, information line for individuals and organizations . Programs related to different phases of weight loss, including psycho-education, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), nutrition education workshops, relapse prevention, body image and after care groups. Prevention programs include Body Based Harassment, Self Esteem Workshops for children aged 10 – 13, and Sizing Up the Media Presentations for high school and college age adults.
