Description: MHAN is collaborative program between the Erie St. Clair CCAC, local school boards, teachers, hospitals, and community organizations to support students with mental health and addiction concerns by:   •Meeting one-on-one in schools or at home •Assisting with the transition back to school from a hospital or other health institution •Providing mental health and addictions education •Helping with the understanding of medications •Connecting with the family doctor •Connecting youth to mental health and addiction services in the community.   MHAN works towards helping students cope with mental health and addiction issues, providing the proper care to manage their future with success. Nurses have ethical and legal responsibilities to maintain confidentiality of personal health information. We build trusting relationships with students by respecting your privacy and confidentiality rights. Remember, we’re here to help.
