Primary Need: Substance Abuse

Description: 35-day residential treatment program for women with a chemical dependency provides counseling, continuous after-care, follow-up services, self-help and support groups. Pre-treatment counseling, public education workshops on prevention, causes, addictions, intervention, treatment and support. Programming includes Family and Friends, Recovery Program, parenting courses, parenting workshops, emotional, behavioral relapse prevention. Free child minding services for clients in programs Caring Connections consists of programing aimed to support pregnant and parenting women(parenting children 0-6 years of age) with substance misuse and addiction issues. ‘Nurturing Parenting Program’ aims to improve and strengthen the relationship between mother and child and to improve outcomes for their newborns, infants and children. Our program focuses on skill-building and coping strategies specifically for parents in recovery.
