Description: The Multicultural County of Windsor and Essex County is the only organization in Windsor and Essex County to provide Violence Against Women Prevention (VAWP) Interpreters. This service is offered to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and elderly abuse, to enable service providers to communicate with their clients. The service is free for victims and eligible service providers, including: hospitals, shelters, social services, Legal Aid Ontario and Domestic Violence Court Programs. Interpretation services are available 24 hours, 7 days a week in over 60 languages. Fee for service is applied.
