Description: Access the UHC to apply for LEAP’s (Low-Income Energy Assistance Program) one-time emergency financial assistance. The program runs throughout the year with a maximum grant of $500 per fuel per household per year ($600 for electrically heated homes). The grant is credited directly toward your energy bill, the UHC can arrange a 21-day hold on a disconnection notice while a case is being assessed.

All decisions will be based on several factors including long-term viability of the account. A disconnection notice is not required to be eligible.
